A very large zombie called the Boomer explodes in a cloud of blood and bile that attracts a horde of zombies when you shoot it. Blood and gore are not that bad you can blow off limbs but I don't see any blood because it is so dark most of the time. You can hear scary piano music in the background and the muffled sobs and screams of a zombie witch. You can not harm them but they do get mad at you. The only time I hear swears are when I accidentally shoot the other survivors. Yes it is violent but you have to remember you are killing zombies in self defense.
You use a variety of weapons such as Pistols, Shotguns, Assault rifles, hunting rifles, Malatov cocktails and pipe bombs. You go home and decide to look into it more. Blood and gore, intense violence, and language. You go to the store and your son asks for this game, you look at the back and see the "M" rating. Some parents may hesitate to buy this game for their kid(s).
